Merit and Courtesy Awards

In our Friday celebration assembly, staff nominate a child/children in the class who has achieved something special during the week. The children receive a merit or courtesy sticker from the Head Teacher. 

1. A Merit Award : For someone who has managed to achieve well in an area of their learning, persevere with a challenge or has a positive approach to learning.

2. A Courtesy Award:  For manners, courtesy, thoughtfulness and kindness to friends, staff or our community.

3. Class Certificates for Merit or Courtesy: Sometimes the staff feel that the whole class deserve the award. A certificate is given to the class and is displayed in the classroom.
