Our Learning - Spring Term

This term we will be reading the books Toby and the Great Fire of London and Charlie and Lola, We Completely must go to London. We will enjoy lots of fun English, Science, AOL, Art, D&T and Music lessons based on these stories! Please look at the 'Learning Journey' tab above, to find out more about the exciting learning that will take place throughout this Spring term!

Please ensure that your child brings their reading book, along with their reading diary, into school everyday. We will read with your child once a week. During this one to one reading time your child will have the opportunity to change their reading book for a new one.  Please support and consolidate your child's learning by reading with them as often as possible at home ..... every little helps!

PE is every Thursday, but please make sure your child has their PE kit in school every day as, on occasions, we have extra PE/sport sessions during the week.

Please pay for milk using the online "cool milk" service (

Homework is set on Friday and is due back in school the following Tuesday. All homework set will be linked to the to the books that we will be reading in our AOL lessons. Please see the 'Homework' tab above to find out more.

Spellings will be sent home on Friday and will be tested in school on the following Friday. All spellings will be based on the phonic sounds that you child will have learnt throughout the previous week in their phonics lessons.
