COVID19 Update - please see the message from Cheshire West and Chester regarding admissions at this time:

We have been monitoring Government guidance about how to manage the impact of the Coronavirus (Covid19) outbreak. Unfortunately, following the recent announcement by the Prime Minister it has been necessary for us to temporarily suspend Appeal Panel Hearings, therefore scheduled School Admission Appeals will not go ahead on the day planned.

As you will be aware schools are currently closed.  In addition, Independent Appeal Panel members are unpaid, trained volunteers.  This unfortunately means that there will now be unavoidable delays to progressing and hearing appeals this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak. If you lodge an appeal, we will contact you with a date as soon as we are able and pending advice from the Department for Education about how all English Local Authority area Education Appeals are to be administered in this unprecedented time.

Parents, carers or guardians for pupils with appeals for Academies, Foundation, Diocesan managed schools, free schools and studio schools should contact the individual school concerned. This information will be updated as and when Government directions are received.
